The Christmas Season

A brief blog here so I can say “Hello!” and wish you a great holiday season.
My writing time has lessened due to my wife’s health; but, thankfully she has recovered from a rare form of breast cancer, two surgeries, and 16 chemo treatments. She rang the bell earlier this year. Self-examination and outstanding doctors at KU Medical saved her life.
I am working on getting back in the swing of life and I’m 80% into the first draft of the second book of the Nova Quadrant trilogy. It’s a slow process when I’m not writing regularly.
Soon on the Interviews page of my website you will find a 20-ish-minute interview of me talking about, among other things, the upcoming Star Trek series, Starfleet Academy.
I continue to be a judge for the Southern Shorts Awards and earlier this year served as a judge for the Showrunner Awards for a second time, judging other Star Trek fan film shorts. I also hope to get back on the comicon circuit in 2026.
There is still time to order books for Christmas—presents for your friends or yourself (links below). Enjoy The Lost Starship (Don’t read the comments before watching; lots of spoilers!), and please tell your friends about my novels.
Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy New Year! All the best to you and your loved ones.
